John Sheehan is a Long Island, New York based photographer. His specialties are  weddings, portraits, actor and corporate headshots, cosplay, concert and event photography. He has been published in national magazines  and in Long Island Newsday.

Past clients included Cradle of Aviation, Frankenberg INC., South Shore Theatre Experience, Retro Souls Entertainment, LI Geek Convention, LI Who Convention, Chamber of Horrors Haunted House, Restless Souls Haunted House, Long Island Retro Gaming Expo, Cradle Con, and more.

He has also been behind-the-scenes and still photographer for Devarez Films, LLC.'s Identity Check and Zombie Hunters: City of the Dead.

His concert photography includes bands like Blue Öyster Cult, Geoff Tate of Queensrÿche,  Work In Progress (featuring Gaten Matarazzo from Netflix's Stranger Things), and Deep Purple and Rainbow lead singer Joe Lynn Turner, not to mention a variety of local bands like Demon Boy, Crisis Crayons, Chupacabra Cabaret , and Crüecified -The Mötley Crüe Tribute Band.

Currently he is a writer and the photo editor of Geek-E Magazine (www.facebook.com/geekemagazine) a magazine that explores geek culture.
